On Sunday, September 27th, your child learned about our new missions project with Operation Christmas Child. Here are just some tips and reminders for you as parents to help your child with this…
- Reminder- We want to pack 20 boxes that cost $25 a piece to send. Yes, that means we want to try and raise $500 over the next six weeks. Anything is possible with God’s help!
- Reminder-Each box will have fun and necessity items for needy children around the world. Some children may never have been given a gift before. Also, any child that receives a gift will also get to hear about the greatest gift ever given…Jesus Christ!!!
- Reminder- Each CrossWalk Kid that participates will have the opportunity to come and see the boxes that are being packed. But the classroom that raises the most money will get to participate in the pizza party and then pack the boxes.
- Tip-Encourage your child to pray for the children that will receive the gifts.
- Tip-Brainstorm ways that they can make money to give….maybe doing chores like raking leaves, cleaning grandma’s house…you can get creative.
If your kids missed last week, make sure to pick up the envelopes in their classrooms! We can’t wait to see what God’s going to do through our CrossWalk kids for other kids around the World!
